Saturday, September 25th: Robert Williams Tops Saturday Night Deal, Leaderboard Top Five Stays Firm

ICYMI: Friday's $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) had a very nice showing, with the prize pool more than doubling the posted guarantee.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (113) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $13,786.  A total of (15) players were scheduled to reach the money, with the action playing through the money bubble, and down to the point that the final table was four-handed.  Players then agreed to a deal, which saw Robert Williams (Miami Gardens, FL) take home first place money ($3,011).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.  

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.  Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.  

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
