Friday, June 29th: Two More Tournament Chops, Magnetta Once Again Finds His Name On Top

ICYMI: Thursday's tournament schedule started with a non-no limit event, as the $150 Limit Omaha 8b/Stud 8B Hi/Lo ($2,500 GTD) tournament got underway at 11:00am.  Many of the mixed game notables were have come to know and love were in the field, which great to (18) entries by the time registration closed.  The $2,500 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across three pay spots, but players agreed to a six-way deal, long before the money bubble was reached.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

No limit action returned at 6:00pm, as players began arriving for the $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD).  Registration would be open for eight levels, and once the window closed, their would be (39) entires in the field.  The $3,050 prize pool (bounties not included) was spread across four payouts, with players agreeing to a three-way chop, after the elimination of Joseph Rozek (Boynton Beach, FL).  Topping the deal was none other than John Magnetta (Boynton Beach, FL), who was just three days removed from topping a deal that ended last weekend's $360 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  Details from the tournament are listed below (and submitted to Hendon Mob John!!!):

Tournaments: This weekend's  tournament schedule begins with a "standard" recurring Friday, which consists of two events.  The first of which is a $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack," which boasts a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 25,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (20) minutes over the course of the afternoon.  Registration is open through Level 8, and the break that follows.  

The second event of the day, which gets underway at 6:00pm, is an $80 No Limit Hold'em tournament ($5,000 GTD). The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, as well as (20) minute levels.  Registration is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows), meaning those interested in joining, can enter up until 9:00pm.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  Then, starting at 10:00am, is one of the newest (and richest) promotions to hit the poker room:



11:00am - $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)
