Friday, November 13th: $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) Headlines The Week's Tournament Action (6:00PM)

ICYMI: Thursday was "the calm before the storm," as players had their focus on the weekend, and tonight's tournament action.  With the re-introduction of tournaments on these weekends, the cash-game action also sees a strong showing, with multiples games spread across the room.

Tournaments: It's Friday, which means the headlining tournament of the week is here!! The $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event is the most popular of the week, attracting (70) entries (on average).  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  Results from tonight's tournament will be posted here on the blog, and will also be submitted to Hendon Mob (for proper recording).

Promotions: There is a short break from "special" high hand promotions today, with the "standard" high hand awarded over the course of the day (11:00am-3:00am).  What is the "standard" high hand you ask? The qualifying high hand for every (30) minutes will be awarded $100, with said hand having to be made using both hole cards (one card high hands no longer qualify).
