Tuesday, December 28th: Robert Souaid Takes Home Lion's Share Of "Final Table Finish" Chop, With Another Opportunity To Climb The Leaderboard This Evening

ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD) attracted a total of (136) entries, which helped the official prize pool cruise past the guaranteed number.  With the "Final Table Finish" format, the $28,288 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out across the top nine spots (meaning those numbers up top were really impressive).  The action would play down to a four-handed final table, at which point a deal was agreed to.  Official results from the event are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
  1. Robert Souaid (Gulf Stream, FL) $8,800
  2. John Magnetta (Boynton Beach, FL) $4,501
  3. Herbert Souza (Boca Raton, FL) $4,115
  4. Robert Williams (Miami Gardens, FL) $3,800
  5. Andrew Bryan (Pembroke Pines, FL) $1,980
  6. Kevin Brammer (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,697
  7. Devin Brodman (Coconut Creek, FL) $1,697
  8. Jairo Velasquez (Sunrise, FL) $849
  9. Sergio Amato (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $849

Tournaments: The $160 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family (and receives a boosted guarantee).  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout.  Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

6:00pm: $160 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
