After an opening pair of Event #3 flights, we begin the second day of the tournament, with Flight 1C getting underway just moments ago.  A new group of daytime grinders will be hoping to find themselves a Day 2 bag, along with some faces we saw in the field yesterday.  Between Flight 1A and Flight 1B, there were a total of (142) entries, of which (16) were able to bag chips for Monday's Day 2.  Raul Hernandez (331,500) and Daniel Diamond (244,000) are currently in the top two spots on the leaderboard (overall), which puts them in position to earn the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Isle Open seat.  With ten more flights remaining on the schedule, there is a lot that can change, but they hold the numbers to beat.

Today's schedule, with Flight 1C at 11:00am and Flight 1D at 6:00pm, will continue on with the same structure as yesterday.  Players will be sitting down to starting stacks of 16,000 units, playing levels that last (25) minutes over the course of the event.  Registration is open through Level 8, with the day scheduled to finish after Level 16 (or if the 10% mark is reached).

Tuesday, October 9th: Continuing On With Event #3 Of The Isle Open ($100 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD)

ICYMI: Yesterday's pair of Event #3 opening flights attracted a total of (142) entries, of which (16) players bagged for Monday's Day 2.  The two players currently in the lead for the "chip lead bonus" are Raul Hernandez (331,500), and Daniel Diamond 244,000.  While those players are in the top two spots, there are a lot of upcoming flights remaining, for new players to try and catch them.

Tournaments: The 2018 Isle Open continues today, with the start of Event #3, which is a $100 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD).  The tournament has a total of (14) flights, with a pair each day this week (Monday through Sunday).  Those players that bag chips for the event, will then return on Monday (12:00pm) for Day 2.  The event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (25) minutes.  Registration for each flight is open through Level 8, and the ten minute break that follows.  Today's flights begin at 11:00am (Flight 1C) and 6:00pm (Flight 1D), with a satellite sandwiched between. 

The $30 No Limit Hold'em Satellite Into Event #3 guarantees (10) seats, and begins at 2:00pm.  Details for the satellite's structure can be found by the tournament area, or by calling the poker room.

Promotions: Tuesday's promotions start with the every-popular Full House Early Bird, with the first (25) full houses awarded up to $60.  The amount won depends on which game is being played, as 2/2 Limit Hold'em players earn $20 (for each full house while eligible), 2/4 Limit Hold'em players earning $40 (for each full house while eligible), and $60 for those playing: 1/2 No Limit Hold'em, 2/5 No Limit Hold'em, 5/10 No Limit Hold'em, 3/6 Limit Hold'em, and 8/16 O.E.

The standard high hands begin at 10:00am (because off the full house promotion), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes. During that period , the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  That high hand period will run through 12:00am, then transitioning to $100 every (60) minutes from 12:00am-3:00am.
