Sunday, July 3rd: Richard Steel Tops Three-Way Deal Of Friday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD), Sunday Introduces Improved Structure!!!

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament action got off to a strong start, and by the time registration closed for the $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event, the field reached (77) entries.  The $7,200 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across the top (12) spots, with action playing down to a three-handed final table.  Once a chop was agreed to, it would be Richard Steel (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) taking home first place money.  Salvatore Accardi and Michael Moore rounded out the second and third spots, with official results listed below (along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: With the success of Sunday's $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), it was clear that there was a place on the weekly schedule for a larger buy-in event.  That being said, Sunday's in July now offer a $400 No Limit Hold'em event with an improved structure.  The event is structured with 30,000 chip starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the short break that follows.

Those looking to get updates on numbers, can follow the action on the Bravo Poker Live app.  All results from this afternoon's action will be recapped tomorrow on the blog.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.




3:00pm: $400 No Limit Hold'em

  • Players start with 30,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (30) minutes
