Sunday, June 5th: Introduction Of A New Tournament, A $600 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD) Gets Underway At 3:00PM

ICYMI: Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) continues to be one of the more consistent tournaments on the weekly schedule, once again surpassing the posted guarantee.  Registration for the event closed with a total of (78) entries, and an official prize pool of $7,300.  Of the players that remaining when Level 9 started (post-registration), ten were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a four-handed final table.  A four-way deal was agreed to, with all of those involved walking away with at least $1,246.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: With the success of Sunday's $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), it was clear that there was a place on the weekly schedule for a larger buy-in event.  That being said, Sunday's in June now offer a $600 No Limit Hold'em event with a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The event is structured with 20,000 chip starting stacks, (25) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the short break that follows.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.


3:00pm: $600 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (25) minutes
