Friday, September 6th: Friday Means $500 High Hands (Every 30 Minutes), Beginning At 6:00PM!!!

ICYMI: Thursday's tournament schedule kicked off with the $120 Omaha 8B (Hi/Lo) event, which like the rest of the recurring events this week, ran without a posted guarantee.  That did not deter the loyal mixed-game followers though, as the field grew to (21) entries, equating to an official prize pool of $2,037.  Three players were scheduled to reach the money, but a five-way deal was agreed to short of the bubble, with the official results listed below:
  1. Lazaro Rodriguez (Miami, FL) $657
  2. Lee Schneider (Pompano Beach, FL) $464
  3. Marty Raschkovan (Tamarac, FL) $345
  4. George Fountoulakis (Stuart, FL) $333
  5. Josh Trinkler (Weston, FL) $238
The evening time slot hosted a $100 No Limit Hold'em "Green Chip Bounty," which continued the trend of nice showings (for tournaments without a guarantee).  After eight levels of open registration, the field would close with (17) entries, and an official prize pool of $884 (bounties not included).  Three players were scheduled to reach the money, but players ended up agreeing to an even chop (on the bubble), with the official results listed below:
  1. Stuart Brown (Lakewood, CO) $221
  2. Robert Cromwell (Deerfield Beach, FL) $221
  3. Celso Leroy (Delray Beach, FL) $221
  4. Stephen Thomas (Coral Springs, FL) $221
Tournaments: At 11:00am, we see the third ever running of the $125 Pot Limit Omaha (w/ $100 Re-Buys).  The tournament is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration through Level 8.  Players can re-buy anytime they have a stack of 16,000 units (or below).

The evening tournament (6:00pm) is an $80 No Limit Hold'em event.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration, players have the option to add-on, choosing between a single ($20) or double ($40).

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which opens the doors seven day a week!!!  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 6:00pm-12:00am, the high hands will still be awarded every (30) minutes, but the winning amount goes up to $500 (for high hands using both cards).  Those winning high hands that are made using one card (during that time period), will be awarded $250.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
