Saturday, June 22nd: "Turbo High Hands" Begin The Day, As Tournament Numbers Continue To Climb

ICYMI: Friday's tournament schedule got it's start, with the $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor," which guarantees $1,000 will be paid out (two $500 winners).  The event had such a great showing (36 entries), that four players were scheduled to walk away with a piece of the prize pool (three $500 spots, and a $300 spot for fourth place).  There would be no chopping of the $1,800 prize pool, as action played down to the money, and through the fourth place elimination.  Official results of the tournament are listed below:

  4. Gerald Blum (Boca Raton, FL) $300
The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a guaranteed prize pool of $3,000.  The trend of the week continued (strong recurring tournament numbers), as registration closed with (61) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $4,195.  Eight players were scheduled to reach the money, and after two post-money bubble bust outs, a six-way chop was agreed to (with the official results listed below):

Promotions: The high hands will run from 2:00pm-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
