Friday, February 26th: Darkhan Botabayev Continues Great Form, Along With The "Weekend Swing"

ICYMI: Last night's tournament action began just after 6:00pm, with cards getting in the air for our $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD).  Eclipsing the century mark is no longer surprising for this event, with last night's field growing to (108) entries.  A total of fourteen players were scheduled to earn a piece of the $12,420 prize pool, with the tournament concluding in a four-way chop.

It was just a few weeks ago, that we were lauding the excellent form of Darkhan Botabayev...a name that seemingly came out of nowhere.  He topped the deal, taking home $1,326 for first place (along with any bounties).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: The $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) headlines today's schedule, with the action getting underway at 6:00pm.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  This particular event is the "Weekend Swing" headliner, attracted fields over (100) entries, and boasting prize pools that consistently surpass the $10,000 mark!

Promotions: With the $300 high hand promotion running Sunday through Thursday, there is a short "break" on Friday and Saturday.  That being said, today's high hand promotion is our "standard," which means $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.  Qualifying high hands must be aces-full or better, using both hole cards, as one-card high hand no longer qualify.
