Join us November 1-4, 2018 for the Deep Stack Charity Classic, one of the most sought out poker events in the state!
Adding to our tradition of bringing you the Greatest Poker Celebrities in the World, one of the most celebrated poker players in history, poker legend Phil Hellmuth, will be joining the Deep Stack Charity Classic. Phil just won his unprecedented 15th WSOP Championship Bracelet and also holds the WSOP world record for the most cash finishes (136) and most final tables (57). Known throughout the poker community as one of the finest hosts of charity tournaments in the world, it will be a real treat to have Phil work his magic the entire weekend. Phil loves the Charity Classic and its players so much, that he can’t wait to return this year!
The Deep Stack Charity Classic is also proud to welcome two ladies who are among the most acclaimed members of the Poker Halls of FameLinda Johnson and Jan Fisher, individually or collectively, have created or managed most of what has made the game of poker better for the players of the world, including the WPT, the TDA, the Poker Players Alliance and Cardplayer
Poker Cruises. Plus, they were two of the founders of Poker Gives, a nationally acclaimed charity and continue to be in demand for their unsurpassed seminars and coaching.
One of the highlights every year at the Charity Classic is the chance to get personally “Whamboozled” by ESPN’s WSOP Television Star, the hugely entertaining Norman Chad. As an encore treat, Norman returns to us to co-host a day of cash, prizes and “waking up with pocket aces.”
Additionally, we will once again be sending the ENTIRE FINAL TABLE (and their guests) to The Venetian Las Vegas! The first Royal Flush could win a Spectacular Rolex, and we're again adding Super Royal Flush Grand Prizes! The first Royal Flush that occurs on the Flop will win Sensational $15,000 Jewelry Shopping Spree!
Unless, of course, it’s a Diamond Royal Flush...then the First Diamond Royal Flush on the flop wins a $100,000 Prize Package, including a Magnificent 2018 Ultra Luxury Car valued at $69,000… with a Trunk Full of CASH!

On top of all of that, the event will feature thousands of dollars worth of door prizes, over $10,000worth of raffle prizes, the Spectacular Royal Flush Prizes, a delectable “over-the-top” meal from Farmer's Pick Buffet, legendary and iconic poker celebrities, and the very best prize packages anywhere (boasting over $70,000 in prizes GUARANTEED, with all of the top 10% awarded).

Isle Open Event #3 (Flight 1K): Flight 1K The Largest Of The Week, Officially Closing With (160) Entries...Prize Pool Approaching Guaranteed Number

2018 Isle Open | Event #3
$100 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Level 9 (Blinds 500/1,000/1,000)
Total Flight 1K Entries: 160
Flight 1K Players Remaining: 70

With registration now closed, Flight 1K is officially the largest of the eleven to have been played to this point (160) entries.  The total number for the event sits at (1,213), with the prize pool currently sitting at $90,975.  With the numbers we've been seeing for the evening flights, the tournament's guarantee should be surpassed this evening.  This afternoon's flight is scheduled to play through Level 16, but will stop if the field reaches (16) players.

Isle Open Event #3 (Flight 1K): Another Event #3 "First Timer," But No Stranger To The Game

2018 Isle Open | Event #3
$100 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Level 7 (Blinds 200/400/400)
Total Flight 1K Entries: 142

Nigel Murray (Miami Gardens, FL) hasn't been nearly as visible as he used to be (in tournaments), but he's one of the many notables in today's Flight 1K field.

For the first five days of this event...in fact...for the first three events of this series, Nigel Murray (Miami Gardens, FL) had been a no-show.  It shouldn't come as too much of a surprise though, as his tournament volume has been down this year.  After (14) recorded cashes last year (for a total of $137,941), Nigel has just three results this year (totaling $4,057).  Murray had always been a fixture at events in the area, having amassed over $732,000 in lifetime earnings.  He has two Isle Poker titles to his name, including a trophy win, during the 2011 Battles At The Beach.  Nigel has a lot of work to do in order to match that impressive number from last year, but an Event #3 win would be a great stepping stone towards the goal.

The second wave of notables in the Flight 1K field, headlined by Nigel Murray, also consists of names like:

Scott Levitt
Stanton Drazen
Elliot Zaydman
Pascuale Calaza
Nagui Yassa
Errol Gunter
Alberto Niebla
Thomas Puccio
Richard Leger
Steve Olivier

Isle Open Event #3 (Flight 1K): Sean Shah Headlines First Wave Of Notables In The Flight 1K Field

2018 Isle Open | Event #3
$100 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Level 5 (Blinds 200/400/400)
Total Flight 1K Entries: 127

Sean Shah (Delray Beach, FL) had been absent during any of the weekday flights, but is in this afternoon's field, looking to bag chips for Monday's Day 2.

Players have just returned from their first break of Flight 1K, which is already the largest afternoon flight we've seen this week (with still four more levels of open registration).  There are numerous faces in the crowd that we are seeing for the first time this tournament, including that of Sean Shah (Delray Beach, FL).  The local poker professional is coming off a Florida State Poker Championships in which he cashed in both the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em (37th - $1,686), and the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event (67th - $2,360).  Shah's looking to add another Isle Poker result to his tournament resume, which is already over $778,000 lifetime.

Shah headlines the long list (first list) of notables in today's field, joining the likes of:

Michael Corbett
James Gleason
Alicia Goldstein
Jeffrey Silverstein
David Poces
Alan Dobrow
Justin Levy
Yi Ding
Lesley Cutler
Christopher Lawson
Marco Cantizani

Isle Open Event #3 (Flight 1K): Official Day 2 Chip Counts (Flight 1A-Flight 1I)

Isle Open Event #3 (Flight 1K): Down To The Final Four Flights Of Event #3, Flight 1K Now Underway

2018 Isle Open | Event #3
$100 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Level 1 (Blinds 100/100)
Total Flight 1K Entries: N/A

We are now down to our final four flights of Event #3 ($100 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD), with ten flights already in the books.  The tournament has attracted (1,053) entries to this point, with (112) having already bagged chips for Monday's Day 2.  The guaranteed number ($100,000), has seemingly never been in doubt, and with only (281) entries needed to reach the guarantee, it's more than likely that we'll see it eclipsed tonight.

The first hand of Flight 1K was dealt just moments ago, with official chip counts to be posted just as Level 3 starts.  Updates from the field will then follow, until the flight's conclusion, and the bags are brought out.

Saturday, October 13th: Weekend Warriors Expected To Help Event #3 Eclipse Guarantee This Evening, "Super High Hands" Headline Promos

ICYMI: Friday was the fifth day of Event #3 play, and happened to be the busiest of the week (sorry if we sound like a broken record).  Flight 1H (111) and Flight 1I (159) attracted a combined total of (270) entries, bringing the overall prize pool to $78,975.  Only (281) more entries are needed to reach the $100,000 guaranteed number, which we will likely see today alone (with two more flights on tomorrow's schedule).

A total of (28) players bagged chips during yesterday's pair of flights, headlined by Michael Zonenashvili, who bagged 683,500 at the end of Flight 1I.  That is 250,000 more than Kenneth Berman, who was in the top spot on the Day 2 leaderboard.  Michael's number is going to be hard to reach, but two new groups of players are going to do their best today.

Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule looks a lot like the five days before it, with two Event #3 ($100 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD) flights, and a $30 No Limit Hold'em Satellite for the tournament (Event #3).

The event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (25) minutes.  Registration for each flight is open through Level 8, and the ten minute break that follows.  Today's flights begin at 11:00am (Flight 1K) and 6:00pm (Flight 1L), with a satellite sandwiched between.

The $30 No Limit Hold'em Satellite Into Event #3 guarantees (10) seats, and begins at 2:00pm.  Details for the satellite's structure can be found by the tournament area, or by calling the poker room.
Promotions: The high hand period runs from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

In addition to the "standard" high hands, from 6:00pm through 12:00am, players are eligible for the "Super High Hands." Players that make a qualifying royal flush, will be awarded up to $3,000, depending on what game they are playing (No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are awarded the $3,000).  Players that make a qualifying straight flush, will be awarded up to $1,200, depending on what game they are playing (No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are awarded the $1,200).  Full rules and payouts are posted in the poker room, and on social media (Twitter and Facebook).
