Saturday, November 14th: Friday's $5,000 GTD Tournament Cracks The Century Mark, With Another Big Night Expected!!!

ICYMI: As this week passed, much of the focus at the poker room was on last night's $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD).  Word has been spreading about the event, and after average over (70) entries since the tournament's introduction to the schedule, it reached even new heights.  The 6:00pm $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event eclipsed the century mark by registration's close, ending up with (105) total entries.  The prize pool ballooned to $12,075, with that amount scheduled to be spread across fourteen pay spots.  After the bubble burst, action continued to the point where things were four-handed, with a deal wrapping up the proceedings.  Jeremy Ehrke (Clay, MI) took home $2,395 for his first place finish, with the official results from the tournament listed below:

Tournaments: If last night's success was a sign of things to come, then you'll want to make your way in for tonight's tournament.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 6:00pm, and looks to offer some great value for the weekend warriors.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 units, has (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).

Promotions: Saturday's high hand promotion runs the same from open to close, with $100 high hands being awarded every (30) minutes.  The qualifying high hand (which has to be aces-full or better) has to be made using both hole cards, as one-card high hands are no longer eligible.

  • Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
