Saturday, January 11th: Recapping Yesterday's Big Announcement, And Focusing On Today's Highlights ($10,000 GTD Event And $500 High Hands)

ICYMI: There were no tournaments on yesterday's schedule, outside of the $80 No Limit Hold'em "Sit-N-Go's," but there was a big announcement!!!


The Isle Casino Pompano Park Poker Room and PartyPokerLive, have partnered to send (at least) three players to the $5,000,000 GTD Millions South America (a $10,300 No Limit Hold'em event, that runs February 6th-15th, 2020.  There will be (3) $550 No Limit Hold'em Satellites, which guarantee (1) Millions South America package (worth $13,000).  For those that don't want to shell out $550 for the satellite, there will also be step-satellites offered (at an $80 price point).  Exact dates of the satellites will be posted shortly!!!

Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule kicks off at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em ($1,500 GTD).  The event is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has regsitration that is open through Level 8.

Saturday's headlining tournament is in the 6:00pm time, and is a $130 No Limit Hold'em event, that boasts a $10,000 guarantee!! The event is structured with 30,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.

Promotions: The "Turbo High Hands" were well received in December, and they have found a home in January as well. Beginning at 9:00am (every day of the week), $100 high hands will be awarded every (10) minutes, with rollovers applying. Because of those rollovers, we have seen the 9:00am-12:00pm period award prizes of $400...$700...even $1,000, over the past month.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 12:00pm-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

At 6:00pm, the high hands grow even larger, as $500 will be awarded every (30) minutes.  The winning high hands made with one card (during the 6:00pm-midnight period) will be awarded $250.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $80 No Limit Hold'em ($1,500 GTD)

- Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips

- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
