ICYMI: Thursday's $180 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD) kicked off the final weekend of October, both resetting the weekly leaderboard, and allowing an opportunity for players to move up the monthly rankings. Registration for last night's event closed with a total of (65) entries, and offered a $5,915 prize pool, which was to be spread across the final nine players that remained. As action played through the money bubble, the clock would eventually be paused with three players remaining, who agreed to a deal that ended the festivities. Jonathan Jimenez (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) took home first place money in the deal, but it was Jonathan Marcu making the headlines. Marcu continues to record results in October, distancing himself from the rest, making him a favorite to win the $5,000 Player of the Month first place prize. Official results from last night's tournament are listed below, along with updated leaderboards:
- Jonathan Jimenez (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,690
- Patrice Barbeau (Quebec City, Quebec) $1,170
- Jonathan Marcu (Boca Raton, FL) $1,117
- Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL) $518
- Steve Fortin (Pompano Beach, FL) $399
- Robert Kessler (Parkland, FL) $311
- Adam Mammon (Lauderhill, FL) 4266
