Tuesday, May 24th: Sergio Amato Tops Eight-Way "Final Table Finish" Chop, Leaderboard Race Coming Down The Stretch!!!

ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($20,000 GTD) cruised past the guarantee, once again showing the event's popularity with players.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (123) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $25,584.  As per the "Final Table Finish" format, the final nine players were scheduled to reach the money, with the evening's action pausing after the first in-the-money elimination.  After Richard Glabman left the final table, the remaining eight players agreed to a chop, which saw everyone walk away with at least $2,225.  Sergio Amato took home first place money, with official results listed below (along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard):

Tournaments: The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout.  Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).  



Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

6:00pm: $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)
  • Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
