Wednesday, May 9th: The Satellite Action For Saturday's $360 NLH ($30,000 GTD) Begins This Afternoon

ICYMI: Tuesday's tournament action started off with a $100 No Limit Hold'em event, which got underway at 11:00am.  The field would close with (34) entries at registration's close, equating to an official prize pool of $2,550.  Five spots were scheduled to get paid, with first place in line to earn just over $1,000.  Action continued through the money bubble as planned, but would eventually pause when three players remained.  A deal was then made, with the results listed below:

In in the evening time slot, there was an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which ended up attracting a fields of (26) entries, even without a posted guarantee.  The $1,482 prize pool would be spread out across four payspots, but those numbers were immediately altered once the money was reached (as a chop was agreed to).  Details of the deal are listed below:

And just as registration closes, the door open on the first of four $90 No Limi Hold'em Satellites into this Saturday's $360 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD).  The satellite guarantees two seats into the event, and is structured with 10,000 unit starting stacks, with (20) minute levels.  Registration for the satellite is open through Level 8 (around 5:00pm).

The final tournament of the day is a $60 No Limit Hold'em event, which begins at 6:00pm.  The tournament is structured with 10,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (20) minutes.  Player can join the action until just before 9:00pm, as registration closes once Level 9 begins.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

Tuesday, May 8th: Petteway And Bass Head Chops Of Monday's Tournament Action, As "Early Birds" Get The Cash

ICYMI: Monday's tournament action started at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that had a $2,500 guaranteed prize pool.  Registration would eventually close with (32) entries in the field, which equated to a $2,500 prize pool.  The posted payouts ended up being irrelevant, as players agreed to a six-way deal, before the money bubble even burst.  Official details of the deal are listed below:

Promotions: Tuesday's promotions start with the every-popular Full House Early Bird, with the first (25) full houses awarded up to $60.  The amount won depends on which game is being played, as 2/2 Limit Hold'em players earn $20 (for each full house while eligible), 2/4 Limit Hold'em players earning $40 (for each full house while eligible), and $60 for those playing: 1/2 No Limit Hold'em, 2/5 No Limit Hold'em, 5/10 No Limit Hold'em, 3/6 Limit Hold'em, and 8/16 O.E.

Monday, May 7th: Recapping The $175 NLH ($100,000 GTD), As We Return To Regularly Scheduled Programming

ICYMI: At 12:00pm yesterday afternoon, (120) players returned for Day 2 of the $175 NLH ($100,000 GTD).  The successful tournament, which had a total of 1,070 entries, saw players battling it out for their share of a $132,440 prize pool.  The field would reach the money in just under and hour of play, with speed being the trend of the day.  Once in the money, we would see a litany go notable names collecting another Isle Poker tournament cash, including Dolline Willis (95th place), TJ Shulman (88th place), Alvaro Grisales (71st place), Rick Kalgstein (66th place), Daniel Pearlman (56th place), Thomas Gari (43rd place), Tom Gity (35th place), Daniel Genachte (21st place), and Joseph Mancuso (14th place). 

Once play reached the final table, the stack sizes were pretty shallow, and continued to shrink as action played out.  After four final table eliminations, the remaining six players agreed to a deal, with Stephen Ibrahim (Ft.
