Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL) has been his talkative self this afternoon, chirping away while all of his chips were at risk.

We approached Table 2 during hand-for-hand play, with two players all-in, and another thinking about making the call.  After Alfred Mansur opened the action from the cutoff, Michael Wetcher three-bet shoved for 75,000, with Raminder Singh re-shoving the button for over 200,000.  Action was back on Mansur, who had both players covered, and was deep in the tank.  Alfred eventually took a stack of chips in his hand and placed them across his cards, and we have a three-way all-in on the stone bubble:

While Mansur's pocket queens held the lead on the flop, it did bring extra outs for both of his opponents.  The turn quickly changed things, as Raminder spiked a king to grab a commanding lead, which would hold through the river.  Michael Wetcher would be eliminated on the money bubble, while Mansur found himself left with less than ten big blinds.

Approaching Table 2, Cherly Miller and John Magnetta would be on the flop, which read A♣ 4♠ J♦.  Magnetta had continued (he raised the pot pre) with a bet, to which Miller raised all-in (for just over 70,000).  John had 133,000 behind, and took little time to toss a chip in for a call.  When the hands were tabled, it would be Magnetta's A♦ K♣, against the A♠ 10♥ of Miller.  The turn (8♠) and river (7♥) would run out clean for John, who eliminated Cheryl, and chipped up to over 200,000 in the process.

Joseph Marchese (Coral Springs, FL) came into the day as the chip leader, and still holds that spot, after one full level of play.

There was an error in the updates earlier, as it was stated that Day 2 play would resume with 24:00 minutes left in Level 16 (where Flight 1A concluded).  It just so happened, that Flight 1B ended with 25:08 remaining in Level 15, so that is where today's action started.  We are now through that level, with just one player eliminated.  Joseph Patalano came into the day with the second shortest stack (34,500), and busted out just before Level 16 started.  (31) players now remain, with a chip average of (34) big blinds, so action should continue at this slow and steady pace for a little while. 

Joseph Marchese came into the day as the chip leader, and has since increased his Day 2 starting stack, eclipsing the 300,000 mark.

Today is the third Day 2 for a multi in the month of June, but things are slightly different this afternoon, as just (32) players return for the $360 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  Eleven players will walk away empty handed though, as (21) will reach the money.  All eyes are on the money up top, which will see someone walk away with $16,820.  The number of players returning doesn't mean things will be ending quickly today, as play after Level 17 will be (40) minutes (each level).

Live updates will be posted throughout the day, including hand histories, chip counts updates, and official results.  Play will be underway in just a few moments, as the rules announcement is being made to those already seated in the field.

Sunday, June 24th: (32) Players Returning For Day 2 Of The $360 ($50,000 GTD), Al Gomez Tops The Return To Recurring Schedule

ICYMI: Yesterday was the final flight of the $360 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD), with a big day needed to reach the posted guarantee.  That's exactly what occurred, as Flight 1C attracted a total of (129) entries, which was triple the size of the two flights that came before it.  A total of (22) players were able to bag chips from the flight, led by Robert Antunes (192,500).  Some other notables returning this afternoon (from Flight 1C)  include Fred Dabus (166,000), Raminder Singh (163,500), Joshua Wasserman (125,000), and Tom Gity (113,000).

The final numbers from the tournament saw a total of (211) entries, of which (32) players will be returning this afternoon (12:00pm).  Two-thirds of the field will reach the money, with sees (21) spots getting paid, and first place scheduled to receive a prize of $16,820.

As the final flight of the multi was winding down, the return to the recurring tournament schedule was just getting started.  A $150 No Limit Hold'em "Deepstack" got underway at 6:00pm, and had a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.  After ten levels of open registration, the field would close with a total of (64) entries, and an official prize pool of $10,000.  Eight spots were scheduled to get paid, with action playing through the money bubble, but pausing when six players remained.  At that point, a deal was made, with Al Gomez (Miami, FL) taking home first place money.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: The day's schedule begins at 12:00pm, as the (22) players return for Day 2 of the $360 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  They will return to their respective Day 2 stacks, with the levels transitioning to (40) minutes for the rest of the event.  It will take just short while for the levels' to change, as Day 2 play will resume with just over 24:00 minutes left in Level 16.

The recurring schedule then returns at 6:00pm, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($3,000 GTD).  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (15) minutes.  Registration for the event is open through Level 10, allowing over 2.5 hours for players to join the action.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
