Total Day 1C Entries: 61

Dominique Mosley (Miami, FL) is widely known as one of the better cash players in the community, but his tournament prowess should not be overlooked.  Mosley has over $647,000 in lifetime earnings.

With the high-limit cash game breaking a short while ago, some of those players have found their way to the tournament area.  Dominique Mosley (Miami, FL) was one of those players to enter the field moments ago, coming off a deep run in one of the most popular WPT events on the tour.  Mosley reached the final table of the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em WPT BestBet Bounty Scramble, finishing in 6th place ($60,981).  Some other recent arrivals to the Day 1C field include Scott Levitt, Richard Leger, and Ryan Gianquitti.

$1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event  ($300,000 GTD)
Level 6 (Blinds 300/500/500)
Total Day 1C Entries: 59

Scott Baumstein (New York, NY) is a poker pro from the Northeast, with over $1,870,000 in lifetime earnings.  He's seen some recent success in Florida, and is looking to continue that in this Isle Open Main Event.

Scott Baumstein (New York, NY) was one of the most recent entries into the Day 1C field, and he didn't wait long before jumping into action.  He was just in a hand with Robert Perry and Nagui Yassa, with the action caught on the turn (of a board reading J♥ 3♣ 8♦ 8♣).  After Yassa and Baumstein checked, Perry bet 10,000, with the two players calling.  After the 8♥ on the river, Yassa checked, with Baumstein shoving for close 27,000.  Perry quickly released his hand, but Nagui gave it about three minutes of thought, eventually folding his holdings.

Scott Baumstein - 60,000 (120bb)

Isle Open Event #11 (Day 1C): The Man Behind The Deepstacks Charity Classic, Steven Kane In Play This Afternoon

2018 Isle Open | Event #11
$1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event  ($300,000 GTD)
Level 4 (Blinds 200/300/300)
Total Day 1C Entries: 47

Steven Kane (Daytona, FL) has been driving hours each week, preparing for what's going to be one of the most anticipated weekends in Isle Poker Room history.

The upcoming Deepstacks Charity Classic is a pretty big deal, which is why there have been reminders and features posted during each day of the main event coverage.  The event, which was hosted at Daytona (Daytona Beach Kennel Club And Poker Room) for the past nine years, is going to be proudly hosted here at the Isle (November 1st-November 4th).  Steven Kane (Daytona, FL), otherwise known as "Rabbi" (as it is his life's work), is the man behind the series.  Kane, along with Poker Room Director Kenneth Lambert, have worked tirelessly to make sure this year's Deepstacks Charity Classic is the most successful yet.

Before the festivities kick off next week, Kane is taking his chances at winning a prestigious event...not just hosting one.  Steven took his seat in the field shortly after the second break, and has been chatting up his table mates, having fun while he plays.

Steven Kane - 30,000 (100bb)

Isle Open Event #11 (Day 1C): Still Waiting To Get "Patched Up," Hillock Hopes To Add To The Tournament Resume

2018 Isle Open | Event #11
$1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event  ($300,000 GTD)
Level 3 (Blinds 100/200/200)
Total Day 1C Entries: 46

Joshua Hillock (Orlando, FL) isn't going to allow an Isle Main Event to pass, without at least giving himself one opportunity to bag chips.

Joshua Hillock (Orlando, FL) is a big supporter of the Isle Poker Room, which is why he's always going to be considered a player to be "patched up."  It's no surprise that Hillock is such a fan of the room, considering five of his top ten tournament cashes have come at the Isle.  His best ever tournament cash at the Isle came in 2011, when he finished runner-up in the Isle Open Main Event (which was a $2,200 buy-in).  The second place result saw a return of $96,736, and is only bested by Hillock's Monster Stack run in the 2014 WSOP (9th place for $127,364).

Joshua Hillock - 40,000 (200bb)

Isle Open Event #11 (Day 1C): The Fashionably Late Crowd Now Arriving

Level 3 (Blinds 100/200/200)
Total Day 1C Entries: 36

John Dolan (Tallahassee, FL) is making one of his few appearances at the Isle Poker Room, usually showing up for at least two of the main events run throughout the year.

While the numbers haven't yet been what we've expected, there has been a spike in entries over the past hour, including numerous players joining the action for the first time this weekend.  John Dolan (Tallahassee, FL) took his seat at Table 1 just a little while ago, boasting a tournament resume with over $4,788,000 in lifetime earnings.  Dolan earned his seventh six-figure score of his career earlier this summer, finishing runner-up (in a three-way deal) of the MPST Event #118 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em).  John earned $117,943 for the result, with his career headlining score still the 2010 WSOP Main Event final table finish (6th place for $1,772,959).

Some other late arriving notables include:

AJ Gambino
Nagui Yassa
Robert Perry
Raymond Millard
David Inselberg
Aaron Porter
Celso Leroy

Joshua Beckley (Marlton, NJ) is just one of a few players this series, who have the ability to land a second trophy win.

Just three weeks after final tabling the $2,200 NLH High Roller during the WSOP Circuit at Coconut Creek (4th place for $14,010), Joshua Beckley (Marlton, NJ) shipped (outright) Event #3 of the Isle Open ($100 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD).  It was an impressive performance out of Beckley, who found himself atop the chip counts midway through Day 2 of the event, and stayed there for the rest of the day.  Beckley added $22,520 to his lifetime earnings, which are now over $4,470,000, putting him in 193rd on the "all-time money" list (that's all-time, since poker results were recorded...an incredible feat).

Beckley was one of the first notables spotted in this afternoon's early field, joining the likes of:

Jose Parra
Christopher Lawson
Adem Arbuckle
