Monday, March 18th: Event #1 Of The Battles At The Beach Storms Out Of The Gate, Second Pair Of Flights Headline Today's Schedule

ICYMI: Official numbers and chip counts from the opening pair of Event #1 ($150 No Limit Hold'em $50,000 GTD) flights, will be posted shortly after the poker room opens.

Tournaments: Monday's tournament schedule hosts the second pair of starting flights for Event #1 of the 2019 Battles At The Beach ($150 No Limit Hold'em $50,000 GTD).   The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Action is scheduled to play through Level 16, or the 10% mark (of the final field entry number), whichever happens to be reached first.  Those players that are successful in bagging chips at the end of either Flight 1C or Flight 1D, will then return on Wednesday (at 12:00pm) for Day 2.      

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

ICYMI: Saturday's recurring tournament schedule started at 11:00am, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Seniors 50+" event.  Even without a posted guarantee, the event attracted a very nice field, as registration closed with (32) total entries.  The $3,104 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across four pay spots, but players ended up agreeing to a five-way deal (even).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

ICYMI: Thursday's tournament slate hosted some of the recurring tournament "staples," starting with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack."  The event saw registration close with a total of (19) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,843.  Three spots were scheduled to get paid, but once action reached the money bubble, a four-way deal was agreed to.  The official results of the chop are listed below:

Sunday, March 10th: Sunday's Tournament Slate Sees The Return Of The "Single Re-Entry," As We Wrap Up Another Successful

ICYMI: The "Chip Buster" is growing in popularity, as yesterday's $130 No Limit Hold'em event (6:00pm) attracted a total of (52) entries.  The $5,044 prize pool for the tournament is the largest that the "chip buster" has closed with (since it's first running), and offered seven healthy payouts.  There would be no deal making, as the event played out to an outright winner, with the official results posted below:

ICYMI: Friday's tournament slate started with the $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($1,000 GTD), which has become one of the top events on the recurring tournament structure.  Yesterday's installment saw a field that ended up with (39) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,950.  That meant that four spots were scheduled to get paid, with three $500 payouts, and one $450 payout (fourth place).  Once player official reached the money, players altered the posted numbers slightly, with the official results listed below:

ICYMI: Thursday's tournament schedule started at 11:00am, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack."  After eight levels of open registration, the field would close with a total of (16) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,552.  Two spots were scheduled to get paid, but players eventually agreed to a four-way deal, with Michael Guardino (Coconut Creek, FL) taking home first place money.  Official results from the event are listed below:

At the halfway point of open registration, it looked like the tournament would have an overlay (for the first time), but a strong late rush saw the field close with (38) entries.  The $3,800 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out across four spots (three $1,000 winners, and one $800 winner), but players ended up agreeing to a six-way deal, with the results posted below:

The "Monster Stack" is followed at 6:00pm, by a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Green Chip Bounty" event.  It should be noted, that this tournament is not the "turbo bounty" that runs on Sunday's, as players get extended levels of (20) minutes (along with the 20,000 unit starting stacks).  Registration is also open through Level 8, not the ten levels that the turbo allows.

ICYMI: Tuesday's tournament schedule started with the $150 Limit Omaha 8B Hi/Lo event, which saw a little raise in posted guarantee (from the usual $2,500, to $3,000).  The posted number was eclipsed shortly before the registration period closed, as the field ended up with (31) total entries.  The $3,472 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out across four spots, but players ended up agreeing to a five-way deal, with the official results posted below:
