Thursday, October 24th: Full House Promo Opens The Doors, Omaha Returns To Recurring Schedule

ICYMI: There are no results to post from yesterday, as both tournaments were canceled.  Just a reminder, that every recurring tournament needs four entries to start, and they will be canceled if that number is not reached by the end of Level 1.  There have been some events lately, that have seen some disappointed players, walking in to late register (unsuccessfully). If the ability to show up on time is there, players should try and take advantage of that!!!

Tournaments: After just one non-no limit hold'em in the past few weeks (because of the Isle Open), the Omaha 8B (Hi/Lo) returns to it's recurring spot on the schedule.  At 11:00am, the $120 Omaha 8B (Hi/Lo) event will begin, boasting a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration open through Level 8.

In the evening time slot (6:00pm), the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Green Chip Bounty" returns, with a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration through Level 8.  For every elimination in this tournament, a $25 bounty will be awarded to the player who scored the knock out.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in October).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

Tournaments: It's a notable day for two reason, the first of which gets underway at 1:00pm.  The remaining players from Event #6 of the Isle Open ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event $300,000 GTD) return for Day 3, which begins at 1:00pm.  There are no structural changes to speak of, as play will resume with (60) minute levels, and action scheduled to reach a winner (unless a deal is agreed to before that point).

Beginning today, Mondays are going to be known for the return of "Sit-N-Gos," one of the most popular tournament formats.  From the moment the doors open, a list will start for the $150 buy-in sit-n-go, and will start once (10) players are on the list.  The single table tournament will pay three spots ($750 to first, $420 to second, and $200 to third).  The structure will be posted in the poker room, and here on the blog, once the poker room opens for the day.

Promotions: The promotional calendar for Monday is focused strictly on high hands, which run from the moment the poker room opens (9:00am), to the moment the doors shut (3:00am).  The period from 9:00am-12:00am (midnight), will see $300 high hands awarded, every (30) minutes (using both hole cards).  If the high hand is made using one card, $150 will be awarded to that player (pending the hand is the qualifying winner).

From 12:00am-3:00am, a $100 high hand will be awarded every (60) minutes (top of the hour).

1:00pm: 2019 Isle Open | Event #6 $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event ($300,000 GTD) Day 3

- Late and re-entries open through Level 12 (for the first two hours of play today)
