Event 16 (Flight 1G): Bercot Looking To Bag Overall Chip Lead

Event 16 ($150 No Limit Hold'em Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
Level 16 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/400)
Total Flight 1G Entries: 183
Flight 1G Players Remaining: 35

Troy Bercot (Palmetto, FL)

With the clock paused and four hands remaining in the flight, Troy Bercot (Palmetto, FL) sits with over 400,000 in front of him, and is in contention for overall Day 2 chipleader.  Troy was sitting with just over average as Level 16 started, but got involved in a sizable pot with Curtis Daye.  The chips got in on the flop, as Bercot held a set against Daye's top pair, with the turn and river to decide the winner of a 350,000 pot.  Date would end up drawing dead on the turn, and Bercot then assumed the chip lead.

The remaining players will finish out the final four hands, and the bagging process will then begin.  It will take a little longer to verify counts for this flight (as we have double the average players remaining in this flight), but official counts will be posted once they are made official.
