While the "slower" structure is appealing to tournament players, it doesn't make for the best "blog storylines," as notable pots are really few and far between.  What the downtime does allow for, is a look back at the last Isle Poker Classic, which was held in January of 2015.  The $350 buy-in event had a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool, and attracted 1,231 total entries (309 re-entries).  The final prize pool ended up just under $360,000, and ended up with a pretty stacked final table:
