Luminita Petrica (West Palm Beach, FL)

Just over (90) minutes ago, we posted about the lack of success from the ladies in this event, and how this flight's hopes were solely on the shoulders of Petrica.  At the time, she was holding just over (20) big blinds, which quickly shrunk to (18) once the blinds went up.  Since then, Luminita had trended steadily upwards, and now sits with a top ten stack (165,000).  There is still a long way to go until the bagging process begins, but it looks as if Petrica may be the first female to bag chips and book a ticket to Day 2.
