Monday, January 23rd: Isle Poker Classic Was A "Classic," Back To Daily Schedule

The 2017 Isle Poker Classic wrapped up last night, capping off what was an incredible series.  A total of (171) players returned for Sunday's Day 2, and while things started off slowly as the money was reached, the action really picked up as play continued on towards the final table.

The stacks across the field began to become pretty shallow as the field size shrunk, with each decision magnified that much more.  There was a quick discussion of a deal once the final table was reached, but things were quickly squashed once players heard it was a suggestion of an even chop.  After a few final table eliminations, the chop discussion began once again, but this time it was in regard to ICM.  The tournament staff helped run the numbers, and once everything was laid out for the seven players that remained, the group was in agreeance.  Bob Tanner (Wellington, FL) was the "declared winner," and earned the largest recorded tournament cash of his career ($14,202).

Now that the series has concluded, the poker room is back to "it's regularly scheduled programming."

11:00am - $80 No Limit Hold'em w/ $10 Bounties $2,000 GTD

- Players will begin with a 10,000 starting stack

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels

- Option player "add-on" at the end of Level 8 ($20 for 8,000 tournament chips), with 100% of the "add-on" going to the prize pool 

- Levels are (20) minutes in length

6:00pm - $130 No Limit Hold'em  $2,000 GTD

- Players will begin with a 20,000 starting stack

- Late and re-entries for the first (12) levels

- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack

- Levels are (20) minutes in length
