Day 1B of Event #2 attracted a total of (151) entries, bringing the total for the tournament to (309). That means that we are going into the final flight (Day 1C) with a prize pool already over the $100,000 that was originally posted on the event. Fred White bagged the Day 1B chip lead with 270,000, with Pasquale Caiazza only 5,000 behind (265,000). Some other notables of the (17) players to book their ticket for Day 2 include Juan Rodriguez, Neil Blumenfield, Luminita Petrica, Jordan Meltzer, and Robert Transue.
Cards will be in the air for Day 1C in just a few hours, with "live blog" coverage beginning just before 12:30pm.
