Sunday, March 12th: "Turbo High Hands" And $10,000 GTD On "Championship Sunday"

ICYMI: Yesterday's "Free Roll" attracted a crowd of (166) total entries, with the official payouts offering prize money for (20) players.  These "free roll" events usually end in multi-way chops, and while this tournament followed suit, it wasn't until five players remained.  Gernie Moorhead (West Palm Beach, FL) was the tournament's "declared winner," walking away with $955 from a $0 investment.  The other players involved in the deal were Ronald Linquist ($881), Lawrence Paden ($787), Joseph Mancuso ($670), and Raymond Rickard ($651).

Tournaments: There is one tournament on the schedule this afternoon, a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) event.  The levels are (25) minutes throughout the tournament, and offers players a 20,000 starting stack.

Promotions: After a day where there where $2,000 high hands awarded for a period of nine hours, the "promotions" train continues to roll on.  Outside of the "standard" high hands during the day, the "Turbo High Hands" return, with $300 awarded to qualifying high hands from 2:00pm-9:00pm (every 15 minutes).
