In what can only be described as a shocking turn of events, Andre Rakusa (Coral Springs, FL) has been eliminated from Flight 1A play. Rakusa assumed the flight's chip lead earlier in the day (Level 6), and continued to amass chips as the day progressed. At last check (during the beginning of Level 13), Andre had over 200,000 in front of him, which was over (100) big blinds. A good portion of his stack was sent the way of John Womack (who is now the chip leader) in Level 14, but he still was sitting with just over chip average (110,000). The rest of Andre's chips were lost moments ago, as he collected his belongings and exited the tournament area. Other players to have busted this flight post-registration's close include:
