Monday, May 8th: Yesterday's "Post-Derby" Trifecta, Big $25,000 GTD Tap This Evening

ICYMI: Sunday's tournament schedule, as have the numerous Sunday to pass this year, had one tournament on the schedule ($150 No Limit Hold'em).  A total of (19) players made up what was an "intimate" field, giving those in the event a $2,185 prize pool to battle it out for.  Four spots were scheduled to be paid in the event, and once Katherine Hoyle (West Palm Beach, FL) was eliminated in fourth place, the remaining three players agreed to a deal.  Jeffrey Silverstein (Delray Beach, FL), an accomplished tournament player with over $144,000 in career earnings, was declared the tournament's "winner" in the deal.  The full results of the event are listed below, with the "Week In Review" feature to be published in the next (24) hours, giving a look into all of the tournament results from this past week.

  1. Jeffrey Silverstein (Delray Beach, FL) $735
  2. Hosney Boutros (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $685
  3. Scott Michener (Lauderdale By The Sea, FL) $408
  4. Katherine Hoyle (West Palm Beach, FL) $357

Promotions: Outside of the "standard" high hand promotion, the weeks gets a "quick" start with "Turbo High Hands," offering $100 every (10) minutes from the period of 9:00am-12:00pm.  Rollovers do apply with this promotion (with each game in the house eligible), so it's not uncommon to see a player pick up anywhere from $100-$500 during the promotion.
