Sunday, May 14th: Happy Mother's Day, And Happy "May $100,000 GTD" Day (2)

ICYMI: You can now add the $150 No Limit Hold'em Deep Stack ($100,000 GTD) to the large group of overly successful tournaments to be run here at the Isle Poker Room in the past few months. The multi-flight tournament attracted a total of 1,169 entries over the course of three days (and six flights), crushing the posted guarantee, and ending up with an official prize pool of $134,435.  A total of (159) players were successful in bagging chips for this afternoon's Day 2 (12:00pm), led by none other than Wanlop Phon Phorn Withoon (Coral Springs, FL), who bagged a whopping 470,500.  It took six flights for someone to bag more than Flight 1A chip leader John Womack (380,000), but after the final flight's bagging process, it would be Withoon, Jonathan Bodden (452,500), Hector Pacheco (412,500), and Donald Gordon (392,500) eclipsing that mark.

Play resumes at 12:00pm this afternoon, allowing for Day 2 players to spend the morning with their families, but most importantly...their mothers.  It's one of the most important holiday's of the year, and nothing would help make it more special than one of those Day 2 players bringing home over $22,500...which is first place money in the event.  "Live blogged" coverage of Day 2 begins the moment the cards are in the air, and will continue through the tournament's conclusion.  There are some great names still alive for this title, with numerous storylines to play out over the course of the day, so be sure to check out the action as it happens live.

Tournaments: As mentioned above, today is all about Day 2 of the $150 No Limit Hold'em Deep Stack ($100,000 GTD).  Cards will be in the air at 12:00pm, with action transitioning to (30) minute levels for all of Day 2.  "Live blogged" coverage will be updates in regards to hand histories, updated chip counts, official payouts, and of course...final results.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard" high hands during the day, the "Turbo High Hands" return, with $300 awarded to qualifying high hands from 2:00pm-9:00pm (every 15 minutes).
