There were a lot of players getting up from their table to survey the field, trying to find out if they had a shot at bagging the chip lead.  While a small trio of players tried to make a late push, Joseph Thomas's stack was just unreachable.  Thomas ended up bagging well over 300,000, and is the first player to officially "enter" Event 14 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em $150,000 GTD).  Flight 1A "officially" ended with 16:00 minutes remaining in Level 16, just a few minutes short of the scheduled stop time (clock would have been paused with 10:00 minutes remaining).  Once the tournament staff verifies all player's bags, the end of flight chip counts will be posted.
