The final flight of the 2017 Florida State Poker Championships Main Event is upon us, as Ralph Brandt finishes up the rules announcement for the "early birds" in the field. There have (294) entries to this point, with (76) players successfully bagging chips for tomorrow's Day 2. The combined prize pool sits just under $400,000, with the guaranteed prize pool now a mere formality.
Even without the players from last night's satellite, and those joining from this morning's $175 Super Satellite (Turbo), Flight 1C was going to be the largest of the three opening flights. The potential six-figure first place prize for this event will surely bring out some new names this afternoon, along with those that were unsuccessful in bagging chips to this point.
