Tuesday, July 25th: Three FSPC Champions Crowned Yesterday, Two More Trophies Up For Grabs Today

ICYMI: There was a lot of action in the poker room yesterday, with three FSPC event running simultaneously at one point.  Much of the original focus was on the Event #14 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em) final table, as a star-studded lineup returned to play at 1:00pm.  Ten players, with over $10,000,000 in combined live tournament earnings, made for a day with quality play and little mistakes.  After five hours of play, it would be Stu Paterson (Boca Raton, FL) hoisting the trophy, after a heads-up deal with Alexander Fradin (Montpellier, France).  A full recap of the final table will be posted this afternoon, with the final table results listed below.

While the Day 3 for Event #14 was an "unscheduled" event for Monday, the first FSPC scheduled tournament got underway at 11:00am ($175 No Limit Hold'em "Structure Beast" $15,000 GTD).  A total of (123) entries made up the field, which surpassed the guarantee with a $16,605 prize pool.  Sixteen players would reach the money, with everyone having their eyes on the $4,817 first place prize.  The event would end in a four-way deal, with Isle Poker regular Michael Corbett (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) declared the tournament's winner (Corbett's first recorded tournament win).

The FSPC event of the day was a big one, with the $60 No Limit Hold'em ($12,000 GTD) attracting a field of (395) entries.  After the optional add-ons were including in the prize pool, the number would close at $19,850.  Fifty players would reach the money in the tournament, with a min-cash worth $92, and $4,097 up top.  The tournament would eventually end in a nine-way chop, with Maxton Habitzreuter (Boca Raton, FL) the declared winner.

Tournaments: There are two more FSPC event on the schedule today, with the $250 No Limit Hold'em Bounty $15,000 GTD (Event #18) starting things off at 11:00am.  The tournament's structure has players sitting down to starting stacks of 18,000 units, and playing levels of (25) minutes in length.  Players will receive $50 (double green chip) for each player they eliminate throughout the event.

That event is followed by Event #19 ($130 No Limit Hold'em $20,000 GTD), which will have the cards in the air just after 6:00pm.  Players in the event with sit down to starting stacks of 16,000 units, and will be playing levels of (20) minutes in length over the course of the night.

Promotions: The Limit Hold'em Early Bird promotion is in it's regularly scheduled spot this morning, but there is one "not so small" addition to the schedule..."Turbo High Hands."  Similar to what is run on Friday's, there will be $300 awarded to qualifying high hands every (15) minutes (from 12:00pm-4:00pm), followed by $300 high hands (under the same 15 minute schedule) from 4:00pm-Midnight.

- Players will begin with a 18,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Levels are (25) minutes in length
 - All late registrants and re-entries will receive a full stack

6:00pm - FSPC Event #19 - $130 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD)

- Players will begin with a 16,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- All late registrants and re-entries will receive a full stack
- Levels are (20) minutes in length
