On the turn of a board reading 9♠ 5♦ 4♠ 8♠, Martin Randall would check from the small blind, with Manny Perez betting 1,225.  Jakub Paulik would be next to act, and after he flatted, Randall would push forward a large check-raise to 40,000 (enough to cover both of his opponents).  Perez thought for a solid two minutes, eventually talking himself into a fold.  Regardless of his holdings, Perez was happy to have released, as Paulik snap-called and turned over A♠ 7♠.  Randall looked disgusted when he saw that hand, as he tabled K♠ 3♠, knowing he was drawing dead.  After the river was placed on the felt, the dealer would cut-down Paulik's stack (50,925), and extract that amount from Randall.

Jakub would become one of the first players in the field to eclipse the 100,000 mark, coincidentally during the same level that Nigel Murray become the first in the century club yesterday afternoon.
