The final table was reached just before 10:30pm, after the elimination of Thomas Gari in eleventh place ($3,563). Once the players took their new seats after the redraw, we saw a common theme amongst the group. Many of the final table members we super short at some point with two tables remaining, and ended up surviving...and thriving. David Gelley (Boca Raton, FL) lost a hand to Tom Cuce with (11) remaining that saw him come out of the hand with just one big blind. He ended running that back up to 1,000,000 in just a matter of three hands, before the final table was reached. When players first began talking about a chop, there were a few players that weren't interested, likely because Daniel Navarrete had less than (10) big blinds. He too would manage to double when he was at his shortest point, and managed to make it to the next break. It would be at that break when players ran the numbers once again, this time coming to an agreement. Posted below are the numbers from the deal, with Bruce Kahn the tournament's declared winner:
- Bruce Kahn (Plantation, FL) $24,865
- Thomas Cuce (Delray Beach, FL) $19,370
- Troy Parra (Margate, FL) $18,712
- Al Gomez (Miami Beach, FL) $16,735
- Scott Levitt (Delray Beach, FL) $16,097
- David Gelley (Boca Raton, FL) $15,110
- Daniel Navarrete (Aventura, FL) $11,830
- Erik Nomberg (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $10,990
- Fausto Tersgini (Oakland Park, FL) $10,990
