Tournaments: The first tournament on the Monday schedule is a special one, as the first of two (this week) satellites gets underway at 11:00am, for Friday's $2,500 No Limit Hold'em "Single Day Series." The $275 buy-in satellite guarantees (1) seat into the weekend's prestigious event, and is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks (along with 20 minute levels).
The satellite is followed at 6:00pm, by one of the largest guaranteed tournaments of the month. The $130 No Limit Hold'em event carries with it a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool...one that is surpassed on a consistent basis. The tournament's structure sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 16,000 units, with levels lasting (20) minutes throughout the event.
Promotions: The "bonus high hand promotion" for the day runs from 10:00am-7:00pm, and offers up $500 to the qualifying high hand every (20) minutes. This same promotion ran just two days ago, and drew a full house in the poker room, so it's likely that things will get busier earlier than normal. Outside of the 10:00am-7:00pm time period, standard high hands will be in place, with $200 awarded to the qualifying high hand (every 30 minutes).
