Only ten minutes into Level 27, and we've already seen two of the short stacks double up. First it would be Nissin Vaknin, who would shove for 890,000 on a flop of 9♣ 8♠ 4♣, over a bet of 170,000 from William Valladares. After some time, William ended up making the call, with his A♦ 8♦ falling to Vaknin's J♠ 9♠ (after the 7♠ on the turn, and 3♦) on the river.

Just a few moments later, Paul Balzano would open to 125,000, with Scott Levitt three-bet shoving for 450,000. Levitt's K♦ 10♦ was dominating the Q♥ 10♥ of Balzano, and after the K♠ 7♣ 6♣ 8♦ Q♣ runout, Scott would double as well.
