Jose Parra (Hialeah Gardens, FL) has been a frequent attendee of the $2,500 Singe-Day, and just earned his first cash in the event, departing in sixth place.

Jose Parra (Hialeah Gardens, FL) had been grinding the Florida tournament poker circuit since 2012, but it wasn't until the 2017 Florida State Poker Championships, that he introduced himself to the blog.  Parra ended up cashing in three events during the summer series, including a deep finish in the $360 No Limit Hold'em (Event #7), collecting $4,423 for his 12th place finish.  Parra has since been fixture in the premier events here at the Isle Poker Room, including the first three runnings of this $2,500 Single-Day event.

Today's sixth place finish is worth $5,405, and marks Jose's largest cash since September of 2015, when he chopped an event here at the Isle for $17,972.
