With the initial feature on some "new" names to the live blogged coverage, some of the notables were beginning to question when their attendance would be noted. He would never ask for any "publicity," but Thomas Gari (Hollywood, FL) happened to be the first notable that was spotted in the field this afternoon. Sitting directly in front of the media's table, Gari's poker "uniform" initially stood out, with his signature khaki jacket zippered up high (it's no joke, search his past pictures on the blog...Gari always wears that jacket during tournaments).
Thomas reached an important tournament milestone in October of last year, as he career earnings crossed the $100,000 mark. He has since added a handful of cashes to the overall number, including a "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" win, earlier this year.
