The 2018 Battles Of The Beach started three weeks ago, and after eighteen days...and seventeen crowned champions, we have reached the final event of the series. This year's installment of the "Battles" isn't going out quietly though, as today hosts the largest buy-in event of the schedule. The $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante was a tournament introduced to the Isle Poker Room calendar in August of last year. Since then, the event has run every month, including an appearance in December's Isle Classic schedule. The largest field for this tournament was actually during it's first run (75 entries), but that number could potentially be surpassed this afternoon.
Today's structure is the same that players have come to know and love, with starting stacks of 100,000 units, and levels that last (30) minutes over the course of the event. This tournament is a one-day event, so it does have a little "turbo" to it, but stacks tend to be super deep around the money bubble (and the final table). Players just started to arrive moments ago, and while there will not be detailed live coverage of today's event, we will bring you updates over the course of the afternoon/evening.
