Saturday, March 3rd: Michele Milker Records First Tournament Win, As The Weekend Rolls On

ICYMI: Friday's tournaments had strong showings, with the action starting at 11:00am, as the cards got in the air for the $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD).  The tournament's generous structure attracted a total of (46) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $4,232.  Six spots were scheduled to reach the money, with the action stopping just moments after the bubble burst.  The discussions of a chop then began, with a deal agreed to shortly thereafter, one which saw Athanasios Datseris (Parkland, FL) taking home first place money ($820).  The results of the tournament are listed below:
  1. Athanasios Datseris (Parkland, FL) $820
  2. Gervasio Valiente (Barcelona, Spain) $815
  3. Celso Leroy (Delray Beach, FL) $715
  4. Charles Maclennan (Boca Raton, FL) $667
  5. Shawn Hairston (Harrisburg, PA) $635
  6. Joseph Sclafani (Plantation, FL) $580
The "Monster Stack" was followed (at 6:00pm) by an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The field was the largest we've seen for this particular tournament, as registration closed with (124) entries.  The prize pool ballooned to $7,068, with the payouts offering up a first place prize over $2,050.  Sixteen players would end up reaching the money, with names like Dean Dennis, Francis Adams, and Thomas Millward, all cashing short of the final table.  The action continued after the final redraw, eventually stopping when four players remained.  A deal was then agreed to, with long time (and loyal) Isle Poker regular Michele Milker (Delray Beach, FL), booking her first ever tournament win.  The full results from the event will be on Hendon Mob, but the official final table finishes are posted below:
  1. Michele Milker (Delray Beach, FL) $1,840
  2. David Schnegelberger (Boca Raton, FL) $980
  3. Linda Goodwin (Canada) $942
  4. Elaine Pasquariello (Wall, NJ) $799
  5. Benjamin Cohen (Parkland, FL) $353
  6. Danny Blackburn (Deerfield Beach, FL) $304
  7. Leroy Beckford (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $263
  8. Frederico Camara (Las Vegas, NV) $233
  9. Jim Brinson (Delray Beach, FL) $205
  10. Daniel Shortley (Lake Worth, FL) $180
Tournaments: Saturday's tournament action begins at 11:00am, with the return of the $130 No Limit Hold'em Survivor, which allows players to see a return of almost ten times their buy-in (without having to win the tournament outright).  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 15,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes.  Every (1 in 10) entries will create a $1,000 payspot on the tournament clock.  Once the designated "money bubble" has burst, the tournament will then be over, and payouts will be awarded accordingly.

The standard tournament format returns at 6:00pm, with the evening time slot hosting a $100 No Limit Hold'em event (that has a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool).  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 14,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that started back on November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
