"$175 NLH $100,000 GTD" (Flight 1A): "It's Deja Vu All Over Again," Another Massive Event Begins Today

$175 No Limit Hold'em
$100,000 Guaranteed
Level 1 (Blinds 25/50)
Total Flight 1A Entries: N/A

After last month's $175 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD), players were all ready asking when that same event was going to run again. The wait wasn't long, as now just two weeks later, the cards are about to get in the air for May's installment.  The tournament is basically a mirror image of we saw April 18th through April 22nd, with just a small change in the chip lead bonus.

There are eight opening flights over the next four days, all structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and (25 minute levels).  Registration is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows), with the day scheduled to end at the conclusion of Level 16 (or if the 10% mark is reached).  There are eight starting flights over the next four days, with an afternoon (11:00am) and evening (6:00pm) flight each day (Wednesday through Saturday).  Players that successfully bag chips for Day 2 will be returning this Sunday, with action resuming at 12:00pm.  The chip lead bonus is also back, with the top stack from each starting flight, earning a seat into $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante ($50,000 GTD) at the end of the month (May 31st).

With 1,356 entries, and a prize pool over $178,000 last month, we could be looking at something very special once again.  Updates will be posted throughout the week, as the blogger recovers from surgery (but will do what he can to never let down his faithful tournament poker followers).
