$200 NLH $100,000 GTD (Flight 1C): Preecha Taepakdee Returns From Vegas With A Nice Result

$200 No Limit Hold'em
$100,000 Guaranteed
Level 4 (Blinds 100/200/25)
Total Flight 1C Entries: 55

Preecha Taepakdee (Boynton Beach, FL) took advantage of one of the many series that run around WSOP-time in Las Vegas, recording a five-figure cash at a MSPT tournament hosted by the Ventian.

Since the beginning of the month, we've seen a handful of players who returned from Las Vegas (WSOP and all that surrounds it) with some nice results.  Preecha Taepakdee (Boynton Beach, FL) bested a field of 2,769 entries, to reach the final table of a $600 No Limit Hold'em event, that was part of the MSPT series at Venetian.  He'd end up the first to depart the final table, but collected over $17,000 for his tenth place finish.  The cash became the largest of his career, and helped bring his lifetime earrings north of $170,000.  The result may have also boosted Taepakdee's confidence, as he's already off to a strong start, almost doubling his starting stack in the first few levels of the day.

Preecha headlines our second look at notables in this Flight 1C field, joining the likes of:

Carmen Mali
William Swicicki
Joseph Gale
Zack Kessler
Paul Shafran
Alberto Niebla

Players will be taking their first break of the flight at the conclusion of this level, returning to Level 5, and new blinds of 150/300/50.
