Saturday, June 16th: Two $10,000 GTD Tournaments Headline Saturday's Schedule, With $1,500 High Hands Sticking Around

ICYMI: Friday's tournament action started at 11:00am, with the $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack," which had a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The event would see registration close with (25) entries, and an official prize pool of $3,000.  Like we saw during yesterday's afternoon event, players would agree to a chop before the money bubble was even reached.  Seven players ended up walking away with a share of the prize pool, with Daniel Kolchov (Pompano Beach, FL) taking home the lion's share ($738).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Daniel Kolchov (Pompano Beach, FL) $738

  5. Leonid Goldshteyn (Tamarac, FL) $340
  6. Perry Werber (Margate, FL) $292
  7. Arthur Rodriguez (Pembroke Pines, FL) $209
Last night's evening tournament was an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The official prize pool would fall directly on the number for the second time in the day, after the field closed with (82) entries.  The prize pool would be spread across eleven pay spots, with first place scheduled to take home $1,612.  Action would play through the money bubble, and down to heads-up play.  David Kahan and Jacque Doucette would agree to a deal at that point, with the former taking home first place money.  Full results from the event are listed below:
  1. David Kahan (Boca Raton, FL) $1,359
  2. Jacque Doucette (Lake Worth, FL) $1,228

Tournaments: Saturday is a big day for tournaments, with two tournaments that boast a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The afternoon event, which begins at 11:00am, is a $175 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($10,000 GTD).  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (25) minutes over the course of the event.  Registration is open through Level 10, giving some extra time for players to join the action.  There is a $50 bounty in the tournament, awarded for each play elimination.

The "bounty" event is followed, at 6:00pm, by a $150 No Limit Hold'em "Deepstack" ($10,000 GTD).  Players in the tournament will be sitting down to starting stacks of 20,000 units, and playing levels that last (25) minutes.  Just like the afternoon event, registration is open through Level 10, which is just over three hours from the beginning of the tournament.
