Play has just entered Level 6, which is the final full level before the flight's dinner break, which will last from approximately 6:10-7:00pm. We have seen a bunch of players get off to a hot start, led by Alexander Michaels (Hollywood, FL), who became the first player to eclipse the 100,000 chip mark. Michaels has been cashing in tournaments here in Florida for almost ten years now, amassing career earnings of $100,669. Alexander cashed in three events during the MSPT series at the Venetian (this past summer), totaling just over $7,500.
Juan Martinez looks to be continuing that good form from Event #4, as he is second in chips with 93,000. With a final table finish in this event, Martinez could potentially eclipse his earnings from last year ($37,707), which is his highest yearly mark to date.
