Tuesday, July 10th: Dave Albertson Wins The First 2018 FSPC Title, Followed By Andrew Donovan Winning Event #2 Outright

ICYMI: A total of (142) players returned at 12:00pm yesterday afternoon, all looking to become the last player standing during Day 2 of Event #1 ($175 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD).  It would take just over ninety-minutes to reach the money, and five hours from there, to reach the tournament's final table.  The final table would last just three levels (it did start eight-handed), as players agreed to a four-way deal that would end the event.  David Albertson (Coral Springs, FL) would be awarded first place money ($19,311), along with the first trophy of the series.  Final table results are posted below, with the tournament's full results to be posted this afternoon:

With the start time of Event #2 (3:00pm), a lot of players treated the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) event like a "second chance." Many Day 2 players from Event #1 were jumping right into the tournament after they busted, with the official field growing to (76) total entries.  The prize pool officially closed at $10,032 (not including bounties), with eight players scheduled to reach the money.  There would be no deal making in the tournament, as Andrew Donavan (Pompano Beach, FL) bested Joao Santos (Delray Beach, FL) to win the trophy.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: There is one standard tournament on Tuesday's FSPC schedule, as well as one satellite.  The day starts at 11:00am, as the cards get in the air for Event #3, which is a $100 No Limit Hold'em tournament with a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 14,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes over the course of the event.  Registration is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows)

Promotions: Tuesday's promotions start with the every-popular Full House Early Bird, with the first (25) full houses awarded up to $60.  The amount won depends on which game is being played, as 2/2 Limit Hold'em players earn $20 (for each full house while eligible), 2/4 Limit Hold'em players earning $40 (for each full house while eligible), and $60 for those playing: 1/2 No Limit Hold'em, 2/5 No Limit Hold'em, 5/10 No Limit Hold'em, 3/6 Limit Hold'em, and 8/16 O.E.

The standard high hands begin at 10:00am (because off the full house promotion), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes. During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
