Isle Open Event #1 (Day 2): Action Underway, As We Look To Crown First Isle Open Champion

2018 Isle Open | Event #1
$200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Level 16 (Blinds 2,500/5,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 1,030
Players Remaining: 114

Tournament Supervisor Ralph Brandt just finished up his rules announcement for the Day 2 field, with action to begin in just a few moments.  There are (114) hopefuls remaining in the field, from a total of 1,030 entries.  First goal of the day...reach the money, which (90) of the (114) players will do, with the money bubble expected to be reached within the first hour of the day.

There are some new names coming into the day as chip leaders, including Angelo Castaldi (588,000), Fernando Halac (535,000), and Wilnor Mercado (517,500).  Right behind those three is a player who needs no introduction, and one that's been featured a lot on the blog lately...Matthew Bretzfield (487,000).

Once play reaches the money, the updated results will be posted with each pay jump, along with updated chip counts and photos, as we reach the final table.
