Isle Open Event #11 (Day 3): Mark Kerness Eliminates Jake Schwartz In 15th Place ($5,857)

2018 Isle Open | Event #11
$1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event ($300,000 GTD)
Level 20 (Blinds 6,000/12,000/12,000)
Event #11 Entries: 267
Event #11 Players Remaining: 14

Jake Schwartz (New York, NY) is on a heater, and hopes to continue his solid play, as he heads to Montreal tomorrow afternoon.

Just as the Jeffrey Trudeau's final hand was playing out, Mark Kerness would open the action at Table 3, with a raise to 35,000.  After a fold from Fred White, Jake Schwartz three-bet shoved from 140,000, with Kerness making the call after the rest of the players folded:

Schwartz: A K
Kerness: J♣ 10♠

Runout: 10♣ 6 2♠ 10 6♠

Schwartz was a favorite when the cards were tabled, but ended up drawing dead on the turn, as Kerness made trips.  This continues the heater that Jake was on, making this deep run just days after returning from BestBet (where he finished second in the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em WPT Bounty Scramble).

Mark Kerness - 815,000
Jake Schwartz - Eliminated (15th Place - $5,857)
