Sunday, October 14th: Final Chance To Bag Chips For Event #3, With An Afternoon (Flight 1M) And Evening (Flight 1N) Remaining

ICYMI: It's all just a question of how "special" this event with become, as Event #3 surpassed it's $100,000 guarantee during last evening's flight.  Between Flight 1K and Flight 1L, there were a total of (360) entries, of which (36) players bagged chips for tomorrow's Day 2.  Flight 1K ended up with a total of (161) entries, and was led by Chris Tuck, who bagged 274,500.  Flight 1L was a different story (in terms of chip leaders), as Francky Dermonay bagged the top stack of the (199) entries (472,500).   That number puts him in line for the chip lead bonus, as he eclipsed Devin Kenneth Berman, who was in the second place spot.  The current prize pool sits at $105,975, and with two final flights remanning, it's only a question of how large this final number will get.

Tournaments: For those looking to bag chips for tomorrow's Event #3 Day 2, today is your final chance to try and accomplish that feat.  The day's schedule hosts the final pair of flights for the tournament, with Flight 1M beginning at 11:00am, followed by Flight 1N at 6:00pm.  Each of the flights are structured like the (12) that came before it, with 16,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (25) minutes.  Registration is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows), with the day scheduled to conclude after Level 16 (or if the field reaches the 10% mark.

Promotions: The high hand period runs from 10:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-3:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
