The headlining event of the day ($175 No Limit Hold'em "1st Annual Thanksgiving Classic" $15,000 GTD) began at 3:00pm, and had registration open through the first ten levels. The field officially closed with (91) entries, equating to a prize pool directly on the posted number. Twelve players were scheduled to reach the money in the event, with action continuing through the bubble, and down to an outright winner. There would be no chops or deals, as Simon Legat (France) bested Brandon Markland (Pembroke Pines, FL) during heads-up play. Legat took home $4,758 for his first place finish, with official results from the tournament listed below:

Tournaments: Today starts the final multi-flight tournament of the month (not including the Isle Classic, which technically starts on November 29th), with the schedule surrounding the event. The $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) has five flights over the next three days, with Day 2 on Sunday. At 3:00pm this afternoon, there is a $55 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD). The satellite is structured with starting stacks of 10,000 units, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.
At 6:00pm, the opening flight of the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) begins. Flight 1A of the event is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and registration open through Level 8. Those players that are able to reach the end of the flight, will bag their chips for Day 2, which sees play resume at 12:00pm on Sunday.
Promotions: From the opening of the poker room (9:00pm) through 6:00pm, the high hands will be awarded every hour, with the winner earning $200. The day's "standard" high hand period will last from 6:00pm-12:00ama, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes. During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.
It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand. The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
