Monday, December 31st: Ready To Ring In The New Year, After Incredible 2018 Of Isle Poker Action

ICYMI: Sunday's tournament slate started at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that boasted a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  In one of the better showings of the month, the tournament's field grew to (40) entries, and saw registration close with an official prize pool of $2,920.  When the payouts were posted, players learned that five spots were going to get paid, with action pausing once the money bubble burst.  A deal was then agreed to, with tournament regular Donald Gordon (Boynton Beach, FL) taking home first place money ($675).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

The evening time slot hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Single Re-Entry" event, which had a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The posted number was cleared by one player, as the field ended up closing with (15) entries.  The $1,600 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out across two spots, but players ended up agreeing to a four-way deal, with German Zaga (Tamarac, FL) awarded first place money.  Details from the deal are listed below:

Tournaments: Monday's tournament slate begins at 11:00am, with a $150 No Limit Hold'em event.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 10.  This is the same tournament that usually has a $5,000 guarantee, but with today being New Years Eve (day), it will runs sans the posted number.

The evening time slot hosts an $90 No Limit Hold'em event, which will also run without a posted guarantee.The tournament has an optional "front-end" add-on, which allows players to spend $10 for an extra "boost" to their stacks.  The structure sees players sitting down to 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $150 No Limit Hold'em

- Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips

- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels

- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack

- Levels will last (30) minutes

6:00pm - $90 No Limit Hold'em

- Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels

- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack

- Levels will last (20) minutes

- Optional add-on prior to each player's first hand played ($10 for 5,000 units)
